Once you’ve booked your consultation, you’ll receive an email confirming your appointment details. From there, we’ll meet virtually for 30 minutes to get to know one another.

This is a relaxed space for us to dive into your goals for the fourth trimester, discuss exactly what you’re looking for in a doula, and ensure our styles are a perfect match for your family’s journey.

01. Let's get to know each other!

You booked! Now what?

What's next?

Let's support your paremthood

Once the contract is signed and the retainer is settled, you are officially on my calendar! From here, we can tailor our start to your comfort level. We can schedule an optional in-person meetup to walk through your space and fine-tune your postpartum plan, or I can be ready to arrive whenever your baby makes their debut.

Whether you need me there the moment you get home from the hospital or a few days later once you’ve settled in, I’ll be on standby and ready to step in. My goal is to make your transition as seamless as possible, so we’ll keep the lines of communication open as your due date approaches!

03. Officialy Booked

Once we decide to move forward together, the next step is the paperwork. I’ll send a contract and invoice to the email address on file to make everything official. A 50% retainer is required at the time of signing to secure your spot on my calendar and ensure I’m fully reserved for your family's postpartum transition. You will also receive your client portal login information via the email on file.

02. Contract & Retainer

I am currently accepting new postpartum clients for due dates starting in late September 2026. To ensure every family receives my full focus and high-quality, evidence-based care, I only take on a limited number of contracts each month.

My real-time availability for consultations is reflected in the booking calendar above—please select a window that aligns with your estimated due date so we can begin planning your soft landing into parenthood.

Still having questions after reading this faq?

In your confirmation email, you will see the option to message me if you need to cancel or reschedule your 30-min free virtual consultation with me.

What if I need to cancel our consultation?

Absolutely! I work with most employer insurance, such as Carrot and Progyny. But I do not accept Kaiser or Medi-Cal at this time. I hope to change that in the future.

Do you take insurance?

Payment schedules are clearly outlined in your service contract so you’ll know exactly when to expect each invoice. To keep things simple and accessible, I accept a variety of payment methods including Venmo, Zelle, Cash, and Check. If you have a preferred way to pay that isn't listed here, just let me know during our consultation!

How does payment work?

I recommend booking at least 3-4 months in advance to make sure I'm still available. Postpartum nights are very limited, so it's best to reach out as soon as you hit your second or third trimester!
